22 cze 2024 · When I want to get a bird’s eye view on Google Earth Pro, I simply locate a place using the Search option and then click the “3D” button. This will give me a top-down view of the location, allowing me to see it from a bird’s eye perspective.
In Google Maps, bird's-eye view has gradually disappeared. It first disappeared a few years ago for users who weren't logged into a Google account. A few months ago I think that it was removed for all users. (Side note: Bird's-eye view was never enabled for rural areas, only larger cities.)

The images from a bird’s eye perspective have not simply been consigned to the archives; they hang in many public buildings and private homes, and shape the visual memory of the country.
