On 1 January 1995, pursuant to the ordinance of the Governor of NBP, coins of nine denominations were put into circulation: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 grosz, and 1, 2 and 5 złoty. The obverse of the coins features the image of the eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland.

19 paź 2023 · Narodowy Bank Polski has announced that the coin “The Independence March” will be available for sale from 20 October 2023. The 10 zloty coin is made of 925 purity silver, has a diameter of 32.00 mm and weighs 14.14 g. Its mintage will be up to 10,000 pieces.
