Fire Sprinkler Inspection Division provides inspection services for all commercial and industrial buildings, and verifies compliance with the Fire Sprinkler code. This includes: Inspections of overhead and underground fire sprinkler protection systems
Features regulated include fire protection systems, fire fighter access to the site and building, means of egress, hazardous materials storage and use, and temporary heating equipment and other ignition sources.
The provisions of this chapter shall govern the materials, systems and assemblies used for structural fire resistance and fire-resistance-rated construction separation of adjacent spaces to safeguard against the spread of fire and smoke within a building and the spread of fire to or from buildings.
