The Cadet Chapel is the most recognizable building at the U.S. Air Force Academy and, before the current renovation closure, the most visited man-made tourist attraction in Colorado. This aluminum, glass, and steel structure features 17 spires that shoot 150 feet into the sky.

Soaring 150 feet toward the Colorado sky, the Cadet Chapel at the Air Force Academy Chapel is an all-faith house of worship designed to meet the spiritual needs of cadets and staff. It contains a separate chapel for Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Buddhist faiths, and two all-faiths' worship rooms.
Cadets and their guests take part in receptions, award ceremonies, baccalaureate services, concerts, parades, air demonstrations, and commissioning ceremonies. The week culminates at Falcon Stadium with the Graduation Ceremony.
The United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel, completed in 1962, is the distinguishing feature of the Cadet Area at the United States Air Force Academy north of Colorado Springs. It was designed by Walter Netsch of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago. Construction was accomplished by Robert E. McKee, Inc., of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
