15 lis 2017 · The most common reason for hard cold starts as said before is the glow plug relay going bad. I have mine on a push button switch inside the cab so the relay only triggers the glow plugs when I want it to.

8 lip 2005 · My 1993 F250 7.3l 160K miles has gotten more and more difficult to start when left overnight or for long periods. All that will work anymore is a short blast of starting fluid. Then the truck starts right up and runs strong.

6 maj 2011 · If you just try to start it & take off, when it's cold, if you push the throttle there is no response. If it's a little warmer outside, it gradually takes off & finally engages over a period of 10-15 seconds.
