As of January 1 2024, Steam stopped supporting the Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. Existing Steam Client installations on these operating systems will no longer receive updates of any kind including security updates.

24 sty 2024 · When I try to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 I get Error Code: 0x800700c1 - 0x20000, and it fails to do anything. When I run the Windows 11 update from Microsoft's website it says I am up to date, But when I try to download the installation media it completely fails to open, link to that provided here: Windows Install Fail Error
