3 lip 2012 · Consumer machine made entredeux was stitched over the shoulder seam. Note that commercial entredeux was used at the neckline for the extra strength needed for an active child’s garment. Note also that the entredeux is stitched with yellow yellow 80 wt. Madeira Cotona thread. This is the yoke to my granddaughter’s Easter dress.
Adjusting the Needle Thread Tension for a Zigzag Stitch For an ideal zigzag stitch, the bobbin thread does not show on the right side (Top side) of the fabric, and the needle thread shows slightly on the wrong side (Bottom side) of the fabric.

You will need: Sewing machine (I’m using a Janome DC2101) thread; Bobbin; Step 1 – Wind the Thread onto the Bobbin. Place your thread onto the spool pin and secure in place with the spool disk.
Thread and Needle Chart. In general, fine threads and needles are used for sewing thin fabrics, and thicker threads and needles are used for sewing heavy fabrics. Always test thread and needle size on a small piece of the fabric which will be used for actual sewing. Use the same thread for needle and bobbin.
