The measurement of an area calculates and displays the area between three or more points on the map. To start measuring an area: Press the ‘Measure distance’ button (button turns blue)

Measure Distance on a Military Map. A graphic scale is a ruler printed on the map and is used to convert distances on the map to actual ground distances. The graphic scale is divided into two parts.
