We also use the Wanna get away fare at least twice a year flying from Logan to Atlanta which is a heavily travelled route all year long. Never had a problem sitting together. The only hassle is being on a computer at the 24 hr mark prior to the flight but totally worth it for the $$ you save.

You have nothing to worry about. Southwest grouped its lowest fares awhile back into the "Wanna Get Away" naming convention. These are the fares that are non-refundable, usually have an advance purchase, etc. But they are normal tickets that will get you on the airplane.
