Wear appropriate hiking footwear (no flip flops), especially for a steep descent to the base of the falls. The scenery to the falls makes this a fun hike. Look up on the second half to check out the vines that wrap around the trees.

Head out on this 2.9-km out-and-back trail near Kapaʻa, Kaua'i. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are February through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a lead.
