I have a list of cities, states/provinces, and countries and I need to find their respective timezones easily. Specifically, I need to know which Windows TimeZone they map to.
To insert geographic data into Excel, you first convert text into the Geography data type. Then you can use another column to extract certain details relative to that data type, like Total population, or Time zone.

25 lip 2019 · There isn't a formula to translate location to time zone. That wouldn't even be possible because timezone boundaries are loaded with exceptions. You basically need a table of cities and their timezones (and that constantly changes a little), then do a simple lookup. –
