These weren’t “on pause” like some hotels were for months or years. Instead, they formally announced they were closing up shop for good. Here’s an update.
28 maj 2024 · We're travelling with Virgin as a package deal and we booked earlier in the year when most of the Hotels in the City were closed due to Covid. I noticed on another site at a review of the hotel and a comment was put that the hotel was now permanently closed down for good.
2 lut 2021 · Hotel closures include the New York Marriott Eastside, W New York Downtown and two Courtyard locations (the Courtyard by Marriott in Herald Square and Courtyard Fifth Avenue). The Maxwell, part of Marriott's Tribute Portfolio Hotels, which was formerly the original W New York, closed in April 2020.
