  6. 9 kwi 2020 · If you linked the photo when you inserted it, the path name is still in the PowerPoint file and can be retrieved by unzipping the file and reading the XML for the slide where the photo was placed. I can give you the steps to do this, if you want to try it.

  7. Dawn, See the tail end of my last post for a way to shrink the EMFs already in your presentation. Other than the trick you already know, there's no way to trace back to the original files, unless the files are linked. Unless somebody went out of their way to link them, they won't be. The link command for images is pretty well hidden.
