The easiest way I've done a price compare is by using the low fare calendar. If that doesn't cut it and you say you're into automating it, look into using ChromeDriver & Selenium.
Southwest aggressively takes down any sites that try to include its fares in aggregation or attempts to predict fare changes. With the low fare, high value model they run, they really can't afford to let that happen. So the Low Fare Calendar is probably your best bet.
On the home page look for the Low Fare Calendar. Plug in the cities closest to you and the month and you’ll see the lowest fares available on each given day. Lower fares are usually closest to your departure city.
If you scroll down, just below "Search for low fares" you can set your departure airport and it will give you a list of destinations and the lowest one-way fare for that destination over the next few months.
In my experience, the best time to book flights for late August dates is typically around 2-3 months in advance. This gives you a good balance between securing a reasonable price and having a decent selection of flights to choose from.
I think you can use this link to see the price range you like, then use the low-fare calendar to see the specific dates you want. It would be nice if you could select the dates first, though.
google flight will give you a calendar with RT fares. Pick your date then contact the airline directly to book.
