7 gru 2021 · To remove Yahoo search from Chrome, go to Settings > Search Engine > Manage Search Engines. Set a different search engine like Google or DuckDuckGo as the default, and in the options for Yahoo, click "Remove From List" to delete it from Chrome entirely.
So, I'm familiar with the "standard" yahoo browser hijack that switches your chrome to secure search with Yahoo. You can fix this by simply switching back to chrome, and at the very worst in most cases ive seen online, resetting your chrome settings.

Now scroll down and click on the ‘3-dot’ menu icon beside the search engine you wish to remove. Click and select ‘Delete’. The selected search engine will now be removed from Chrome.
