Some games need you to put the game in English (UK) for them to display in English. If that doesn't work, then the games don't support English. I've got two or three European games that don't support English: a French copy of MGS1 for PS1, Unit 13 for PS Vita (French and Italian only) and a third one I can't remember at the moment.
