14 maj 2014 · Check Settings>General>Restrictions>Privacy>Calendars and make sure that you didn't restrict it somehow. You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
15 kwi 2021 · With iOS 14 apps that can be removed from the home screen without being deleted. If you have iOS 14, go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.

The restored calendars and events appear on all your devices with Calendars turned on in iCloud settings. If you change your mind, you can restore the calendars and events you were using. Just follow the steps above to restore the most recent version available.
You can change default settings for calendar events, such as the duration for new events, whether to be alerted when it’s time to leave for an upcoming event, and more. Go to Settings > Calendar. Do any of the following: Set default alert times for events: Tap Default Alert Times, tap Birthdays, Events, or All-Day Events, then choose an option.
