From southwest to northeast, the trail is a well-maintained gravel trail from the Knox County line at Brinkhaven to Glenmont (there is a short, well-marked detour on the north side of County Road 75, along Township Road 14 for about 1/4 mile).
On the left is a handy mileage chart that gives the rough mileage between major towns and cities along the trail. It reads north to south starting at the top and south to north, starting at the bottom. It also shows the cumulative mileage between Lake Erie and the Ohio River.
This 8-mile section between Brinkhaven and Glenmont is now open which takes the Ohio to Erie Trail route off Route 62 and several rural roads so we will then utilize Route 520 until the final Trail section is paved from Glenmont to Killbuck.
