Does anyone know of a mod I can use to measure distances in game? Maybe even just a scale line or something in the corner like you'd see in Google Maps? The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question.

To mitigate this, an additional Launch Option has been added within Steam. To reduce the risk of being affected by this bug, ensure that you select the "Cities: Skylines II (with mods)" option in Steam when launching the game (or set this to the default).
