  3. Another vote for AutoEurope, but it is a broker, so choose the rental company carefully. Your airline probably has some options too. Stick with the major international companies if you can, low prices are usually deceptive and you’ll get hit with more charges when you go to collect.

  5. I now use carhire3000.com after years of staying with the biggies like Hertz- and have been really satisfied; great rates and as they are an intermediary rather than a rental Company themselves, you often get the car from a major operator like Avis anyway.
