On July 2nd, 2023, I set out on a 9-hour, 10-minute journey from Seat 12K in KLM's Premium Economy aboard their 787-10.
The 787-10 offers the largest premium economy cabin in the KLM fleet. The smaller -9 Dreamliner will have just 21 recliners, whereas both the -200 and -300 variants of the 777 will feature a 24-seat cabin.
When travelling in Premium Comfort Class, your seat will be in a quiet cabin of just 21 to 28 seats – fully separated from Economy Class and Business Class. Features of your seat include: Up to 17 cm more legroom than a standard Economy Class seat. Up to 20 cm recline.
28 mar 2024 · The 787-9 has 3 rows of Premium Economy and the 787-10 has 4 rows. The layout is 2-3-2 which is substantially better than the 3-3-3 layout in regular economy. At the moment KLM is retrofitting their 777 planes with premium economy. This should be completed by end of 2024.
