1 paź 2021 · Hotwire is a scam! I have been loyal for ten years. Tonight we drove six hours to our hotel and the hotel didn’t have our reservation. We paid. Hotwire took our money. Sent us a confirmation but never booked our hotel. Then they were unable to help us book another hotel.

Hotwire has absolutely terrible customer service. They don't offer to resolve anything even when their guaranteed hotel rating is not what they promised. They steal your money, offer zero solutions, and then ask you to pay more for a better hotel instead of fixing it on their end.
