Hopper is a scam. I elected the option to pay $19 per room per day for breakfast. Then when I arrived at the hotel staff never heard of it. After 3 phone calls to a variety of unintelligible (although courteous) support reps, they basically just said too bad.

Hopper.com told me to send an email and never responded until I got a consumer protection tv show involved. Only then did they cancel the fraudulent booking but refused to tell me how had used my identity to book and take out a $655 loan under my name.
It took Hopper months to respond and over 50+ customer service inquiries and kind emails / calls to Hopper and Sunwing. Hopper finally confirmed refund via email - and never processed. They will not answer me since.

3 years ago. I attempted to book a flight through Hopper for tomorrow morning due to a family death. I paid to freeze the flights cost and then attempted to purchase the flights two hours later. I tried with two different cards to purchase the flights, and both times I received an error saying there were technical difficulties.
