Hopper is a scam. I elected the option to pay $19 per room per day for breakfast. Then when I arrived at the hotel staff never heard of it. After 3 phone calls to a variety of unintelligible (although courteous) support reps, they basically just said too bad.

Extremely bad experience with hopper. They booked my 24 hour international travel ticket with multiple airlines without code share and ended up suffering for flight delays and extra baggage fee due to difference in airline policies. It would have never happened if done using code share partners.
BBB can’t do anything, they just list complaints. If you looked there or here before you gave them your money you wouldn’t be in this position right now. I hope your Expedia reservation has no surprises down the line.
