Pre-travel testing is an alternative to the state’s mandatory five-day self-quarantine (updated on January 3, 2022 based on CDC guidelines). Travelers may elect to take a pre-travel COVID-19 NAAT from a state of Hawaiʻi Trusted Testing and Travel Partner within 72 hours of departing on the last leg of their trip to Hawaiʻi .
