I clicked a link in an email they sent me from "support @ cheapfare.travel," but I realized that was probably stupid. I also noticed that the email address on my flight booking had been changed, which was incredibly suspicious.
Flight Customer Service Scam. A few months ago, I made a complaint whilst in the air on a Virgin Atlantic (Delta) fight because my AirPods had been stolen on a flight cancelled the previous day. This was on Twitter and I had a fake account (imitating VA) contact me and tell me to DM them.
Whatever platform they're using to send their SMS notifications is also being used by scammers/spammers, and since Flight Circle isn't paying for a dedicated number (Assuming here that that's what's happening), their notifications will come from the shared pool of numbers that the SMS service uses.
23 wrz 2020 · If the image is of someone who is too good to be true or looks heavily edited, this could be a sign that you are talking to a scammer. They choose the best-looking image of someone to lure people in and steal their money.
