1 mar 2024 · E6B practice. This is a free mini-app from David Megginson for fellow afficionados of the classic aviation E6B circular sliderule (or for student pilots still forced to learn to use it). You can solve practice problems for either the wind side or the calculator side.
Printable E6-B Flight Computer...or at least the front side of it! This PostScript program renders an E6-B (you can also get a PDF version which is identical). An E6-B is a circular sliderule customized for aviation use. A commercially made model would also have a wind/heading plotter on the reverse side.
This document provides instructions on how to use an E6B flight computer to perform various flight calculations. It covers calculating wind correction angle and ground speed, flight time per leg, fuel burn per leg, and density altitude.
24 wrz 2014 · As a flight student, you will need to use your E6B to perform a couple of different calculations. These can be placed into the three different task groups as follows: Fuel, time, and distance calculations (Multiplication and division)
The E6B is a circular sliderule and mechanical wind-triangle calculator long used in aviation, and still common in flight training (or with pilots like me, who just like them). This client-side web app presents simple problems for either the calculator or wind side of an E6B.
Instructions for Using ASA Flight Computer. Your ASA E6-B Flight Computer has two main parts: a circular slide rule side for making quick calculations, and a wind side for computing ground speed and wind correction angle. The slide portion of the circular slide rule side also includes quick-reference material.
