I don’t use cents per mile just compare the miles to the cash price; obviously that would give you cents per mile but I don’t think of it that way.
Answer 1 of 8: I've been using Virgin's "Premium Economy" from Los Angeles to London--I know BA has a similar tweener-class and others may as well. Do these seats ever go on sale similar to economy, or are they pretty rigidly priced? Thanks...
18 lis 2023 · Currently booked Economy but a rather reasonable upgrade (£280) to Premium Economy is offered. Researching the PE cabin on the LH B747-8i and viewing some of the YouTube videos online, it doesn’t seem that the Lufthansa PE cabin experience is what I had hoped and expected.

The first two trips, we flew Standard Economy. The long flight (s) over the pond were not comfortable (to put it mildly).

You search by airline and the type of plane. You can see what they consider the "best" and the "worst" seats. We always upgrade from Economy to Economy Plus, even on short flights.

You watch a movie. You have a meal. You take a nap. Eventually the flight is over. No big deal. Report inappropriate content. SF2015. California.
We are seeing fares for approx. 1,950.00 per person, per flight. (total roundtrip nearly 8,000) and that is Delta. When we look at United, which we enjoyed, the prices are 2,800 per person, per flight (total roundtrip nearly 11,200.00). We are aware that some travelers fly Premium Economy frequently. Some fly Business Class.
