As tourist traffic is high on the paths, you should always consult the Official Cinque Terre Parco Nationale site for trail closures and other information. This page indicates trail closures with a red circle. In 2018, the trails from Riomaggiore to Manarola (2a) and Manarola - Corniglia (2b) are closed.
6 lut 2022 · Many trails in the Cinque Terre have been affected by flooding, rock slides, and erosion and are currently closed for repair. However, you can still hike the entire five towns, it just requires a bit more effort.
30 kwi 2024 · To walk from village to village on the blue tourist path, it would normally be 12 km or 7.5 miles. However, due to trail closures, today’s hike distance would be more like 16 km or 10 miles taking the alternate paths, which are more difficult. Therefore, how long it takes to walk Cinque Terre depends on your route.

20 mar 2024 · Important Update on Cinque Terre Trail Closures: The trail between Riomaggiore and Manarola (Via dell’Amore) and Manarola to Corniglia are closed due to a landslide and are planned to reopen in July 2024.
