My next step is to create a formula to return the sequence of addresses in the order I should goto based on shortest distance between each point (also referred to as the traveling salesman problem).
You want MS Access for that, really, if there are millions of row you will soon reach the limit of Excel. You can however try a Pivot Table, it will give you your results faster than a formula. For example, the distance between 111 Smith St and 222 Smith St is 10 miles. I know the city but I don't know the postal/zip code.
