23 lis 2016 · There is an add_on called caliper (see this on how to download and install) designed to measure things in blender. Very simple to use: it has two empties that you can position and it creates a text with the distance. Not very pretty... but useful...

23 kwi 2024 · While dragging you can use Shift to snapping the line to horizontal, vertical or 45° angle or use Alt to create the line from a center point. NumpadPlus and NumpadMinus or using the mouse Wheel will increase or decrease the amount of points in the final line.
30 wrz 2007 · WolfOfBadenoch, I tought that you want to know how to measure a distance between two points as priority. Revising your first post - you just want to snap a point of an object to point from another one and translating the whole geometry.
10 mar 2018 · LMB Click & Drag along an existing Ruler line to turn it into a Protractor for angle measurement. * Hold Ctrl while creating the Protractor to snap its apex to 3D elements. LMB Click & Drag a point in an existing Ruler or Protractor to change its location.
