The department has temporarily stopped its in-person lost and found services until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To report a missing item or get more information about one that has already been reported, get in touch with the lost and found department by phone or online form.

DFW Lost and Found does not charge a fee to file a lost property report. Be sure to use the official online form or phone number provided here, as there have been reported cases of third-party websites attempting to charge a fee to pick up a lost item.
Lost and Found (American Airlines) This lost and found area is located in front of the American Airlines' Customer Service area inside security near Gate C2. Items that are retrieved on planes may be claimed here. Please call 972 425 2465 for more information.
