Finding cheap flights is more about how early you book, when you plan the trip (be flexible), and how trafficked are the airports (bigger airports are usually cheaper). I like Google Flight + Kayak Map for getting general ideas about what destinations may be cheap when I have no specific destination in mind.
Cheaper flights to Mexico. Flying from Florida, it appears flights to Mexico are a lot more expensive than many other destinations in Latin America. I'm not sure why, I'm assuming it has to do with Mexican taxes or airport fees. I would, however, like to visit Mexico City, and my dates are flexible. Are there any tips for less expensive flights?
