Cheaper is only for travel agents. Depends on the route, if You are going only to Asia, those are the best websites, nobody has better prices than momondo or something. To Africa and Europe with KL/DL/SN/LH/AA/BA/UA there are hidden fares. To South America and US domestics there is nothing at all.

It’s not cheaper to book through third parties and it’s a lot more difficult to make changes especially in the age of Covid. Book direct as much as possible. Search Google Flights and then book direct. It links it out to the airline.
