They can gain EVs from Vitamins though, and lose EVs with the special Berries, which will change the Pokemon's actual stats on the fly. This means you can technically get an Effort Ribbon for a level 100 Pokemon, but you must apply Vitamins across all stats.
Any Pokémon that has gained experience points from battling will have gained some EVs. Every 4 EVs obtained in a particular stat equals one more point for that stat, by the time that Pokémon reaches level 100. At low levels you may not see all the points added straight away.
22 maj 2024 · A Pokémon which reaches level 100 can continue to acquire EVs up to the maximum of 65535 in each stat, and use the box trick to have those EVs factored in. Vitamins add 2560 to one stat's EV, but cannot raise a stat above 25600.

How to increase your EV gains: Hold Items: In the Battle Points (BP) shop in Hammerlocke City, you will be able to purchase items that increase your EV gains. Each item costs 10 BP and will cut a Pokémon’s battle speed in half! These will affect Pokémon gaining EVs passively through the EXP share.
