There is a need for faster, more frequent, more convenient, and more reliable regional transit service in the Buffalo-Amherst-Tonawanda corridor. The corridor is served by Metro with three bus routes (Route 34, Route 44, and Route 49) that connect with the Metro Rail University Station.
