Select the entredeux stitch (#711 on Artista and 8 Series machines; for other models, check your machine manual). With 5.5 mm machines, I stay with the default settings, however, with the 9 mm machines, I use 6mm width and 3mm length.

20 sie 2010 · It is used for stability between two materials. It is also decorative. In this Lesson, the entredeux will be sewn to fabric, in preparation to sewing lace to the sleeve edge. So the entredeux will go between the fabric and the lace (however, the lace will not be attached in this lesson).

A word about yarn--please do mother a favor and knit your baby and children's garments in machine washable wool or cotton. A mere whisper of hand wash only and your precious sweater will quickly land in the bottom of the dresser drawer.
