12 mar 2022 · What’s the dress code at Arpège? Despite being a Michelin three star restaurant in the heart of Paris, Arpège doesn’t have a dress code. During our meal, most people (including us) were comfortably dressed in a style best described as business casual.

Unless it is a cafe, assume that the non-published dress code is a shirt with a collar for men, nice (dark) jeans or slacks and for ladies a little nicer than you would wear to the office i.e. Dress, nice blouse and skirt or nice slacks and classic shoes.

29 lis 2022 · No dress code! I am glad they don’t require people to dress up to just dine out. The majority of people in the restaurant wore business attire, but I did see a handful of casually dressed diners. Arpège Cons. The plating was underwhelming. For a three-star Michelin-rated restaurant, I expected more creative plating.
Arpege didn't care about dress code several years ago. Pretty fair chance I was wearing jeans or something equally casual, and Alain Passard came and greeted us (total strangers) at the door in his own ratty jeans and couldn't have been more welcoming. (Edit: apparently I had a jacket but no tie.)
