The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The 8th Air Force Control Tower and Nissen Hut, located in the Air Park, are closed until further notice.
The US Air Force museum has quite a number of planes you cannot see anywhere else … most notably the very large XB-70 “Valkyrie” supersonic bomber and the B2 stealth bomber, their prize pieces. Not only US planes but also a lot of Russian planes such as Migs and Sukhoi’s. And a number of German WW2 planes.
