The museum preserves and shares the rich aviation and space history of Colorado Springs and Peterson Air Force Base. Non-military ID card holders and groups should contact the museum a day in advance of their visit to request a pass and receive detailed instructions.
The National Museum of World War II Aviation is located on a 21-acre campus on the northwest side of the Colorado Springs Airport. Just 15 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs, the Museum is easily accessible from Interstate 25 and just five minutes from the intersection of US 24 and Powers Blvd. PARKING AT THE MUSEUM IS FREE.
