5 kwi 2019 · The easiest way to see which aircraft type you'll be flying on is to look for rows 12 and 14 when choosing your business class seat: if you can see these rows, you're flying in the 'bigger' business class cabin – and if business class instead ends at row 11, you'll be flying in the 'smaller' business class cabin.

The configuration I flew had 80 biz seats: 48 on the lower deck divided into a 36-seat main section and a minicabin directly behind with just 12 seats, plus 32 on the upper deck. (Lufthansa also flies another version of the 747-8, with even more biz-class capacity at 92 seats.)
Miles are calculated according to the airfare for tickets beginning with the numbers 220 (Lufthansa), 724 (SWISS), 257 (Austrian Airlines), 082 (Brussels Airlines) or 101 (Air Dolomiti), or for tickets issued by Eurowings.
