The VMT Calculator uses trip length information from the City’s Travel Demand Forecasting (TDF) Model to calculate vehicle miles traveled. In Version 1.2 of the VMT Calculator, trip lengths for Travel Analysis Zones (TAZs) within 1/4 mile of the project address are averaged.
