21 lut 2022 · Lot number 1829 was listed simply as the “Famous New York to Paris Racer.” The winning Thomas Flyer is on display in Reno, Nevada, at the National Automobile Museum, alongside the trophy. The race was of international interest with daily front page coverage by The New York Times (a cosponsor of the race with the Parisian newspaper Le Matin).
