I bought a Home Depot gift card today. When I went home, I checked the receipt and balance. The gift card doesn't match the receipt. The cashier scanned the wrong card and gave me a different un-activated gift card. I checked the barcode with a barcode scanner. Gift card wasn't even the one scanned.
As of January 1st, 2022 a veteran will not receive a 10% discount unless they have the Home Depot app installed. It must connect while you are inside the store during the purchase to give a unique code to scan. If it doesn't connect, you don't get a discount. Many elderly vets don't use smart phones, so now they WILL NOT get a 10% discount.
