Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (The Porkies) is located just west of Ironwood. The park has 60,000 acres of old-growth forest, waterfalls, Lake Superior Shoreline, rivers, trails and more. There are over 90 miles of hiking trails throughout the park for all skill levels.
