18 lis 2011 · Both of these two models have a very unique "self bedding" design where the receiver is square with large knurling (meat hammer) type design on the bottom which bites into the stock to evenly distribute the mating of the action/stock. The action and stock is shown below in the 4th photo.
5 lut 2013 · My brother is Left handed, and the Vostok is not Left Hand Friendly at all so he had no problem with a different stock. We had a spare Ultimate Sniper stock for a short action Remington 700 in the shop.

14 lis 2014 · I had a CM-2 for many years as a prone target rifle - Typically 1970's Russian, solid and dependable but pretty basic. It was accurate with a fairly good trigger. The stock was very basic, probably birch and finished is what looked like congealed treacle.
