I encountered this problem after updating from win7 to win10. When attempting to launch Origin.exe I get the following error message: "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\Origin.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
First I ran into the msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll issue that many people have posted about, but thankfully was able to resolve that by downloading the necessary files and putting them in the correct folders. Then I ran into the present issue, the 0xc000007b error.

Looks like a problem with your visual c++ redistributable packages, perhaps they're not compatible with Windows 10 or something went wrong during the upgrade. I think the ones having the errors (msvcp100.dll and msvcp120.dll) are the 2010 and 2012 versions, but I could be wrong.
21 mar 2018 · I recently had to completely reset my PC because of some hard drive issues and everything has been working fine so far except Origin. It used to work fine on this computer before I reset it, but now it won't even let me download it.

6 sie 2015 · 1- Go to your Origin.exe folder. 2- Rename Origin.exe to something else i.e. "Originn.exe" 3- If Origin starts with downloading updates, change it back to "Origin.exe" 4- After finishing updates, rename to something else again.
