Florida waives out-of-state tuition and fees for all honorably discharged veterans who reside in the state and who are enrolled in Florida public, post-secondary institutions, through the “Congressman C.W. Bill Young Veteran Tuition Waiver Act.”
All Veterans who are required to pay a share of cost must apply for monetary benefits for which they may qualify that will assist in paying for their care at the facility (i.e. Medicaid).
