Online check-in begins 24 hours prior to departure. If you purchased EarlyBird Check-In®, your boarding position will be reserved for you. That said, in order to pass through the security checkpoint, you will need to retrieve your boarding pass online or at the airport at your convenience as early as 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.

A mobile boarding pass is an electronic document on a personal mobile device that allows you to go through security and board your flight. It’s generated and provided using our mobile channels on iOS, Android, and our mobile website.
View your boarding pass directly in your browser, save it to your phone via Apple Wallet or Google Pay, or save it to your photos from an Android device. Present your mobile boarding pass at security checkpoints and during boarding and you're done!
Customers with eligible reservations may check in online at www.southwest.com or using the Southwest® app available here. Once you have checked in for your flight, you can print your boarding pass online, download via the Southwest app, or choose to receive a text.
4 mar 2021 · You can choose to get everyone's boarding pass following this process in the Knowledge Base, or you can have each person go back through the check in process to the the boarding pass for themselves. Either way, each person will need to be holding their own BP on their own device.
