On April, 8 2024 we have the opportunity to view a Total Solar Eclipse! This celestial event is rare, and will be the first time a Total Eclipse has passe d directly over Ohio since the year 1806! A Total Solar Eclipse occurs when the moons orbit passes just perfectly between the Sun, and Earth.
A total solar eclipse will be visible in parts of Ohio on the afternoon of April 8, 2024. The eclipse’s period of totality will enter Ohio north of Greenville, in Darke County, around 3:00 pm.
